Stocking the shelves — at Montevideo Middle School.
February 13, 2026 · Community
Halfway through the school year, classroom supplies start running low. Tissues, paper towels, pens, highlighters — the things that don't seem like much until a teacher runs out and ends up paying out of pocket to keep things stocked.
When the PTSA at Montevideo Middle School put out the call for their annual Stocking Their Shelves drive, we were happy to help.
We loaded one of our storage carts with 100+ classroom supply items and dropped them off — paper towels, tissues, Lysol wipes, pens, highlighters, the basics that get burned through fastest.
Local schools and the teachers who run them do work that holds a community together. Supporting them isn't a marketing strategy for us — it's just the right thing to do when you're a local business that benefits from a strong community.
To the MMS teachers and staff: thank you for what you do every day. We hope this helps you make it to the end of the year a little more comfortably.
And to local parents and businesses — if your kid's school is running a similar drive, jump in. The impact is bigger than you'd think, and the supplies don't last as long as you'd hope.
