Access & hours

What are your office hours?
Monday through Saturday, 9 AM–3 PM. Sundays by appointment — call or text 540-208-1853. We're closed standard federal holidays. Need to meet outside those hours? Just let us know, and we'll try to accommodate.
Is there 24/7 access to my unit?
Yes — included with every rental at no extra charge. You'll have gate access and unit access any time of day or night.
How does gate access work?
Each tenant gets an access code that opens the main gate at move-in.

Units & storage

What sizes do you have?
Eight sizes — 5×5, 5×10, 5×15, 7.5×10, 10×10, 10×15, 10×20, and 10×30. See the Size Guide for what fits in each.
What's the difference between hallway and exterior access?
Hallway-access units open into a climate-controlled interior corridor — quieter, slightly more weather-protected. Exterior-access units open right onto the driveway so you can pull a vehicle up. Both are climate-controlled.
Is climate control included?
Yes — every unit at Stone Spring is climate-controlled, including drive-up exterior units, which is rare in this market.
Is there a minimum rental term?
No minimum. Stay a week, a year, or a decade. We prefer you let us know 30 days before move-out.
What can't I store?
Per the rental agreement: no flammables or hazardous materials, no food or perishables, no lithium batteries (live charge), no living/sleeping in units, and no firearms or ammunition. The full list is in the rental agreement you'll sign at move-in.

Pricing & payments

How do Smart Saver rates work?
Smart Saver units are a limited number of specific units that we offer a slightly better rate on. Same climate control, same access, same security — but some have longer access routes, or a slightly smaller door or dimensions.
Is there a discount for autopay?
Yes — $5 off your first month for enrolling in autopay at sign-up.
Do you offer a military discount?
Yes — 5% off for active duty, reserves, and veterans. Just bring proof at move-in.
What happens if I'm late on payment?
We'll send reminders, but late fee charges do apply. We try to reach out personally before anything escalates.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Credit card is preferred. Check and exact cash are accepted for walk-in payments during business hours only.

Protection & insurance

Do I need insurance?
Yes — the rental agreement requires you to carry insurance for the full cash value of stored property. Most homeowners or renters policies cover items in storage; check with your provider, or ask us about options.

Move-out

How much notice do I need to give to move out?
We prefer 30 days' notice. However, anything less than 10 days before month's end will result in an additional month's rent.
What condition does the unit need to be in?
Empty, broom-swept, unlocked, and free of stains or anything stuck on the surfaces within the unit.
